Designed by Sebastian Summa for DCW Éditions Paris, the ORG W 1050 is a graphic light inspired by astronomy and the world of science fiction. Its 105 cm composition brings together five luminous tubes with deliberately deconstructed metal elements that appear to extend beyond the light itself. Mounted on a wall or ceiling, the ORG W 1050 becomes an architectural line of light. For 2026, the design is introduced in a new Nickel finish paired with an especially warm 2400K light.

A luminous composition inspired by a shooting star

Sebastian Summa conceived the ORG collection as a meeting point between light, astronomy and futuristic imagination. On the ORG W 1050, five slender luminous tubes are grouped in a deliberately irregular arrangement. Metal elements of different lengths reinforce its deconstructed character and give the light an elongated silhouette reminiscent of a luminous trajectory.

At 105 cm long, the ORG W 1050 has a strong decorative presence while remaining visually light. It can be installed vertically on a wall, mounted on the ceiling or combined with additional ORG lights to create a larger lighting composition.

New 2026 Nickel finish with a warm 2400K light

For 2026, the ORG W 1050 is introduced in a new Nickel finish. Its silver-toned metal elements contrast with the illuminated tubes and emphasise the slender linear character of the design.

This new Nickel version also features a colour temperature of 2400K. Warmer than the existing 2700K version, the light takes on a softer, more amber-toned appearance that complements the metallic reflections of the Nickel finish and creates an intimate atmosphere.

Integrated dimmable LED to adjust the atmosphere

The ORG W 1050 features an integrated LED light source. The original configuration is specified at 12W with an installed light output of 1200 lumens and a colour temperature of 2700K. For the new 2026 Nickel finish, the colour temperature changes to 2400K.

The light is TRIAC dimmable, allowing its intensity to be adjusted according to the desired atmosphere. The driver is supplied and the fixture operates on 220-240V. This dimming capability allows the ORG W 1050 to move from more pronounced illumination to a softer decorative glow.

Where can the ORG W 1050 be installed?

Its long, slender proportions make the ORG W 1050 particularly effective for emphasising a vertical wall in a living room, entrance or hallway. It can also accompany a staircase or be repeated across a larger wall to create a rhythmic lighting composition. When ceiling-mounted, its luminous lines become an architectural feature overhead.

Made from aluminium, glass and acrylic, the ORG W 1050 weighs approximately 3 kg. It operates on 220-240V, is Class I and rated IP20 for indoor use.
