Product Overview

The VL Ring Crown 1 wall lamp by Louis Poulsen is part of the VL Ring Crown family, a model created by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen for the former Radiohuset in Copenhagen in the 1940s. This model, with its distinctive organic shapes, has been widely used in various projects. Although the original model was never installed in the Radiohuset, it influenced many creations. In 1947, designer Finn Juhl used a version of the VL Ring Crown to decorate the interior of the Danish porcelain manufacturer Bing & Grøndahl in Copenhagen.

Reintroduced in 2019, the VL Ring Crown 1 retains the original materials and design, featuring glossy white opal glass shades and a polished, untreated brass arm. This wall lamp adds a touch of authenticity and sophistication to any modern interior.
