The Square collection by Market Set is directly inspired by Californian modernist architecture and the iconic Case Study Houses movement. Combining graphic lines, softened geometric forms, and warm materials, this decorative lighting range reinterprets contemporary elegance through a refined architectural approach.

Designed as true interior design elements, Square luminaires structure spaces beautifully while diffusing soft and comforting light.

Inspired by Californian modernism

The collection draws inspiration from American modernist homes from the 1950s to the 1970s. The square silhouettes with gently rounded corners evoke the architectural lines of the Case Study Houses while introducing a warmer and more decorative interpretation.

This balanced aesthetic creates an elegant dialogue between graphic minimalism and visual comfort.

Elegant and sophisticated geometric lines

Square lampshades create striking perspectives through contrasting edges and generous volumes. Their structured forms visually redefine interior spaces while maintaining softness thanks to subtly curved contours.

Each luminaire becomes a sculptural decorative centerpiece.

Refined natural materials

The collection combines matte brushed metal, cream cotton, and FSC® certified woven paper screens. This combination creates harmonious contrast between architectural precision and natural warmth.

The light is softly filtered to create soothing and sophisticated atmospheres.

A collection designed for contemporary interiors

Square is available as pendant lights, floor lamps, table lamps, and wall lights. The different formats elegantly enhance living rooms, offices, dining areas, and contemporary bedrooms.

The designs subtly reinterpret the spirit of vintage banker lamps through a chic architectural lens.

Decorative expertise by Market Set

With the Square collection, Market Set showcases its expertise in creating contemporary lighting combining design, noble materials, and warm lighting atmospheres.

Each model reflects French elegance and a modern vision of premium decorative lighting.

MARKET SET®: Bright Design with French Craftsmanship and Elegance

Based in Bègles, near Bordeaux, MARKET SET® represents the revival of French lighting. A brand under the Corep Lighting group, it boldly expresses its identity, combining artisanal expertise with a contemporary spirit. Since 1970, it has explored materials, shapes, and lighting uses to offer highly decorative fixtures.

Each MARKET SET® light is created with a sustainable vision. A team of passionate young designers creates two new collections per year, blending technical innovation, rich materials, and clean design—all crafted in French workshops, ensuring high-quality local production.

MARKET SET® shines with its airy pendant lights, sculptural floor lamps, poetic wall sconces, and refined outdoor lanterns. Its style is chic and graphic, often vintage or subtly exotic, always luminous. Through textures, shadows, and transparency, each fixture creates warm, elegant atmospheres.

The brand stands out through its environmental commitment. This includes a textile-based eco collection in collaboration with Sonia Laudet as part of a "Slow Life" initiative, and the RIVAGE collection made with Varian®—a biodegradable French linen. From canework and Murano paper to washed linen and Art Deco jacquard, MARKET SET® promotes responsible elegance.

MARKET SET® also inspires travel. Cultural influences appear in collections like SCREEN, SINGAPORE, and ODYSSÉE, with each piece telling a sensory and decorative story. Far from the ordinary, the brand explores the boundaries of design with subtlety and soul.

Choosing a MARKET SET® light means selecting a product that is both aesthetic and ethical. It’s a statement of refined taste for contemporary lines, quality materials, and authentic French manufacturing.

“MARKET SET® creates bold graphic lights designed to last, illuminating today’s interiors with style and purpose.”

Iconic Market Set collections

Market Set has earned recognition with its signature collections such as Screen – especially the recent Screen 70’s – along with Singapour, Pebble, Rivage, Coquillage, and Sonia Laudet. These designs are known for their lightness, graphic identity, and beautiful diffusion of light through texture.

Screen Collection – Sculptural lightness with poetic flair

The Screen collection embodies the art of diffusing light with graphic finesse. Featuring suspended panels in rattan or stretched linen, it plays with layering and transparency to create a soft, warm, and airy glow. Available in various formats, including the stylish Screen 70’s, this range draws inspiration from kinetic mobiles, turning each lamp into a floating piece of art.

Singapour Collection – Exotic charm meets contemporary style

Inspired by traditional Asian lanterns, Singapour reinterprets suspended lights with a modern twist. Overlapping shapes, natural materials like linen and rattan, and soft color palettes create poetic and elegant atmospheres. Perfect for bedrooms and living rooms, this collection brings travel-inspired beauty to any interior.

Coquillage Collection – Gentle light with organic accents

Coquillage seduces with its shell-inspired design and natural curves. The perforated lampshades filter the light delicately, casting subtle shadows and a soothing ambiance. This collection is ideal for those seeking refined, nature-infused elegance in their home.

Pebble Collection – The beauty of simplicity and curves

With its rounded forms and raw textures, the Pebble collection evokes pebbles smoothed by time. Combining linen, metal, and natural tones, these minimalist lights create calm, characterful interiors. A serene choice for lovers of understated, authentic design.
