The Vendôme collection by Sammode embodies a perfect balance between architectural design, Parisian heritage, and industrial robustness. Designed by Normal Studio as part of the Paname collection, it reinterprets Sammode’s iconic tubular light through a refined metal grille imagined as a true luminous jewel.

Inspired by the famous Place Vendôme – the heart of Parisian high jewelry – this collection treats light as a precious object, both when lit and unlit.

Available as horizontal suspensions, wall lights, ceiling lights, Mini and Nano formats, and even a floor lamp, the Vendôme range offers a complete family of luminaires suitable for all environments, indoor and outdoor (except the floor lamp, which is indoor only).

1. Why “Vendôme”? A collection inspired by Parisian high jewelry

The name “Vendôme” pays homage to Place Vendôme, the historic center of French jewelry and a symbol of elegance.

Normal Studio created a golden perforated grille with interlocking motifs reminiscent of the architecture, façades and paving stones of this iconic square.

The result is a luminaire with warm, precious reflections that transforms any space with a soft, enveloping and sophisticated glow.

This delicate metal lattice acts like a luminous skin, wrapped around Sammode’s industrial tube while giving it a completely new decorative dimension.

2. The designer’s role – Normal Studio and the reinterpretation of Sammode’s tubular light

The Vendôme collection is designed by Normal Studio, a Parisian duo composed of Jean-François Dingjian and Éloi Chafaï, artistic directors of Sammode since 2014.

Their approach:

preserve the industrial DNA of the Sammode tube,
enrich it with a new materiality,
transform it into an architectural lighting object for the most ambitious projects.

3. Vendôme 130 cm – Horizontal suspension, wall light or ceiling light (indoor/outdoor)

The Vendôme 130 cm (H130 cm, Ø10 cm) is the flagship piece of the collection.

Unlike some Sammode tubular lights, this model can only be installed horizontally.

It can be used as:

a horizontal suspension (perfect over a bar, table, counter or kitchen island),
a ceiling light (for hallways, living spaces or galleries),
a horizontal wall light (to draw an elegant linear signature).

Thanks to its 360° diffusing LED tube, it is ideal for:
