Vendôme luminaires are defined by their refined golden grille, inspired by Place Vendôme. They elevate Sammode’s iconic tubular light into a true decorative jewel, stunning both on and off.
Can Vendôme lights be used outdoors?
Yes. All Vendôme models are suitable for indoor and outdoor use, except for the Vendôme 133 floor lamp, which is intended for indoor spaces only.
The Nano (IP68) and Mini versions are especially well-suited for outdoor areas or bathrooms.
Can the Vendôme suspension be mounted vertically?
No. The Vendôme 130 cm model can be installed only horizontally.
However, it can also be used as a ceiling light or wall light.

What inspired the design of Vendôme?
The golden grille pays homage to Place Vendôme, Paris’ legendary luxury jewelry district. The interlocking patterns echo the façades and pavements of this iconic square.
Who designed the Vendôme collection?
Designed by Normal Studio – Jean-François Dingjian & Éloi Chafaï – artistic directors of Sammode since 2014.
They reinvented Sammode’s industrial tube into a refined architectural luminaire.
Are Vendôme lamps repairable?
Yes. As with all Sammode luminaires, Vendôme is fully repairable and built using a modular and upgradeable design.
