Originally designed in 1964 by Marc Held, the Chaumont pendant lamp embodies timeless functional elegance. Now reissued by DCW éditions, it is available in two sizes to perfectly suit any space—from a reading nook to a contemporary dining room.

 

A creation by Marc Held

A key figure in 1970s French design, Marc Held designed this minimalist lamp for his own Parisian apartment overlooking the Buttes-Chaumont park. With its clean lines, nickel finish, and focused light, Chaumont balances rigor and softness, history and modernity.

Two sizes for tailored installations

Chaumont comes in two versions to match a wide range of interior designs:

Chaumont 150 : a compact model, perfect solo or as a bedside light

Chaumont 190 :  a larger model, ideal above a table or in grouped arrangements

Compatible with PAR30 bulbs, Chaumont provides 100% downward-facing illumination. The adjustable bulb depth allows for custom light direction and minimizes glare—creating powerful yet soft lighting for any application.
