The story of Fosfens begins in 1970 when Stevan Bijelić arrived in Paris with a passion for watchmaking and precision machining. His talent quickly led him to work in demanding industries such as aerospace, medical engineering and luxury manufacturing. This culture of exactitude and technical mastery forms the foundation of the Fosfens philosophy.
Today Fosfens is led by Milan Bijelić, an engineer in applied physics who continues the family heritage while exploring new creative approaches to lighting design. Together with his wife Elena, he founded Fosfens as a house where light becomes both a technical and artistic expression.
Every Fosfens luminaire is manufactured in France using noble materials such as aluminum, brass, copper, stainless steel and titanium. Components are machined with extreme precision using advanced CNC technology before being carefully finished and assembled by hand.
