The Corduroy Spot by Fosfens goes beyond traditional wall lighting to become a precise and expressive lighting tool. Derived from a collection known for its technical excellence, this more compact version than Corduroy II allows you to sculpt light with accuracy, whether highlighting architectural elements, artworks, textures or creating refined ambient atmospheres.
Two installation configurations to meet every technical requirement
Corduroy Spot is available in two distinct configurations, offering flexibility for both residential and architectural projects.
The integrated driver version (157 x 30 mm wall base) includes the power supply directly inside the wall plate. This allows for a straightforward installation with direct connection to the electrical outlet, without the need for external components or visible cables. It is particularly suitable for renovation or simplified installations.
The remote driver version (97 x 10 mm wall base) offers a significantly slimmer and more discreet appearance. The driver is installed separately, hidden within a wall, ceiling or technical cavity. This solution is ideal for high-end architectural projects where minimal visual impact is essential.
A mechanical zoom inspired by professional optical systems
At the core of Corduroy Spot lies a refined mechanical zoom system inspired by camera lenses. It allows smooth adjustment of the beam angle from 25° to 75°, providing full control over light concentration and spread. This versatility enables both sharp accent lighting and broader ambient illumination, depending on the desired effect.
Outstanding light quality for precise color rendering
With 1770 lumens for 19.5W at 2700K (alternative color temperatures available), Corduroy Spot delivers a powerful yet warm light output. Its CRI 98, R9 95 and TM30 certification ensure highly accurate color rendering, making it suitable for demanding environments such as galleries, retail spaces or refined interiors. The light remains perfectly stable and flicker-free, ensuring long-term visual comfort.
A tactile and intuitive interaction with light
The integrated touch dimmer, positioned on the head of the luminaire, allows for immediate and precise control of light intensity. This direct interaction creates a sensory connection with the object, enhanced by a design inspired by vintage audio and instrument controls.
Smart lighting control and advanced connectivity
Corduroy Spot is equipped with Bluetooth MESH technology, enabling remote control via the XIMTROLLER app, available free of charge. Users can adjust brightness, create lighting scenes and manage multiple fixtures simultaneously. For professional applications, a DALI option is available, ensuring seamless integration into advanced lighting control systems.

Each Corduroy Spot is manufactured using 5-axis CNC machining, achieving a level of precision comparable to watchmaking or aerospace engineering. The luminaire is crafted from noble materials such as aluminum, brass, stainless steel, titanium or copper. Hand-finished surfaces and advanced treatments guarantee exceptional durability and long-term performance.

With a Ø9.7 cm head (compared to 12.9 cm for Corduroy II) and a projection of 188 mm, Corduroy Spot integrates easily into various environments. Its Ø15.7 cm base ensures stability while maintaining a clean and minimal aesthetic.
