The Yuh wall lamp, designed by the Danish-Italian duo GamFratesi, was created for Louis Poulsen in 2017. This model combines functionality with minimalist aesthetics. Initially available in black and white, the range has expanded to include versions in brass and marble. Yuh is a flexible wall lamp that allows for complete customization of lighting. Thanks to its geometric and modular design, it integrates seamlessly into various interior environments.

Lighting Concept

The Yuh wall lamp primarily provides anti-glare, downward-directed lighting. The angle of the lampshade is adjustable, allowing for optimal light distribution according to needs. A narrow opening at the top of the lampshade creates a soft, ambient light directed upward. The integrated mechanical system offers great freedom of movement, enabling the light to be positioned ideally for any situation. The LED technology allows for smooth dimming of light intensity, from 15% to 100%, and includes a timer function with three settings: off, 4 hours, and 8 hours. The switch and dimmer are located on the wall box.

Materials and Finish

The lampshade of the wall lamp is made of die-cast aluminum, while the stem is made of extruded brass, available in matte liquid paint or clear lacquer. The wall box can be made of die-cast aluminum with liquid paint or extruded brass with clear lacquer. Available finishes include black, white, and brushed brass with clear lacquer, with lampshades in white or black depending on the chosen version.
