The U1 pendant light, designed by Sylvain Willenz for Arpel Lighting, stands out with its unique U-shaped module crafted from precision-extruded aluminum. Suspended like a luminous sculpture, it offers both visual structure and soft lighting — ideal for modern interiors seeking design impact.

Adjustable warm light for a tailored atmosphere

LEDs run along the outer edge of the U, emitting a warm 2700K glow with smooth diffusion. A remote control is included to dim the light as needed, perfect for adapting ambiance in a living room, dining area or workspace.

Refined materials, minimal design

Available in matte black, matte white or shiny brass, the U1 is suspended from a matching metal canopy and textile cords. Its polycarbonate diffuser provides even light distribution, while every detail reflects Arpel Lighting’s dedication to quality and precision.

Specifications written into the narrative

The U1 operates on 100–240V with a 24V output driver and remote dimming system. It uses 22 watts and produces 800 lumens (black version), with a high CRI over 90. The U-shaped light element is 31 cm wide and 38 cm tall. The circular canopy is 20 cm in diameter, and the cable extends up to 250 cm. It weighs 2 kg and is delivered unassembled in a 3 kg package.
