Tolomeo Basculante – Table lamp with parchment or grey satin shade

A soft reinterpretation of a design icon

Originally designed in 1987 by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina, the Tolomeo lamp is a landmark of Italian design. In this Basculante version, it keeps the iconic spring-balanced arm structure but replaces the aluminium shade with a refined textile diffuser, available in parchment or grey satin fabric.

Flexible light with graceful movement

Equipped with an adjustable arm system and rotating diffuser, this lamp provides versatile lighting tailored to any task—from reading to ambient lighting on desks or side tables. The tilting shade brings softness and emotion to its functional lines.

Timeless style with high-quality materials

The body is crafted from aluminium and steel for lightness and strength, while the shade made from parchment or satin gently diffuses the light. The round 23 cm base is stable and matches the lamp finish. Optional mounts include a desk support and clamp.

Technical features in sentence form

The lamp can reach up to 75 cm in height and extends to 108 cm in length. It operates on 220–240V, consumes 7.5W, and delivers 816 lumens. Its luminous efficacy is 116.58 lm/W, with a Colour Rendering Index (CRI) of 80. Rated IP20, it is suitable for indoor use only.
