If you're seeking to understand how to replace a Jieldé lamp's reflector, you've come to the right place. Whether you own a lamp from the Signal or Loft collection, here are the steps to follow.

Important Note: Ensure your lamp is unplugged from the electrical power supply or the power is switched off for fixed lamps. The tools needed may vary depending on your lamp's collection. Using inappropriate tools can damage your lamp's paint.

For the Signal Collection:

Arm yourself with a 2mm Allen key. Unscrew the two screws inside the reflector, being careful with the washers. Once the screws are removed, slide off the existing reflector. Finally, install the new reflector and put the two screws back in place.

For the Loft Collection:

Using a flat-head screwdriver, fully unscrew the screw while holding the nut. Then slide off the old reflector. All that's left to do is install the new reflector and put the screw and nut back in place. Remember not to tighten the screw too much, as Jieldé lamps should remain maneuverable to adjust the light flux as you desire.

Good to know :

The black manipulation ring beneath the reflector of a Jieldé lamp is intentionally designed to be flexible enough to avoid any breakage during handling. However, there may be instances where this ring is not perfectly centered under the reflector or it may be slightly offset forward or backward. Fortunately, it is easy to recenter the ring by holding the reflector with one hand and applying light pressure with the other hand in the desired direction (left, right, or forward, backward). It is important not to apply excessive force to avoid damaging the part.
