Handcrafted Jieldé lamps are unique pieces of lighting equipment. This means that each lamp may vary slightly from one piece to another due to their manufacturing tolerance. You may encounter an issue with a Jieldé lamp arm being too loose or too tight. Don't worry, this isn't a manufacturing defect, but rather a matter of adjustment.

To fix this, Lumitop provides you with a step-by-step guide:

Caution! Before you start, ensure that your lamp is unplugged from the mains or that the power is turned off for fixed lamps. Also, check the collection your lamp belongs to, as the dimensions of the tightening tools differ. Using pliers or unsuitable tools may damage your lamp's paintwork.

For the Signal collection, use a size 7 wrench, and for the Loft and Lak collection, use a size 10 wrench.

Adjusting a loose or tight arm:

For this, you will need two wrenches. Begin by slightly loosening the nut (rounded head) while holding the screw with the other wrench, without fully unscrewing it. Then, tighten the screw while holding the nut with the second wrench until you achieve the desired adjustment.

By following these simple steps, you can enjoy the full benefits of your Jieldé lamp, a premium indoor lighting piece, while preserving its distinct industrial aesthetic.

For a LAK lamp, the handling is essentially the same, with just the addition of caps that are clipped on and thus need to be unclipped manually.

With a small flat screwdriver or even a knife, insert the tool into the small notch. Give a gentle tap and the cap will come off easily.
