Luc Ramael is a true Belgian gem. Graduating in 1975 in interior architecture from the Nationaal Hoger Instituut voor Bouwkunst en Stedebouw in Antwerp, his passion didn't end there. He pursued further studies with a specialization in photography and furniture design, showcasing a versatility and eagerness to learn that would mark his entire career.
Career and Teaching
After gaining experience collaborating with various professionals, Ramael established his own interior design and conception firm in 1988. However, his passion for design transcends practice: he also shares his knowledge with the next generation of designers. Since 1984, he's been teaching at different architecture schools in Belgium, taking on roles as both a professor and an external examiner. Moreover, he had the honor of being a jury member at the Biennale of Interior Design 2000 in Kortrijk.
