A graduate in industrial design from the University of the Arts in Berlin, Jette Scheib carried her passion and expertise from Germany to Spain, opening her studio in Barcelona, her new creative base. You can have the most beautiful furniture, the softest sofa, but if the light isn't right, you won't sit comfortably," she says. She views light as a tool that modulates space, sculpts ambiance, and shapes the lived experience in an environment.

Collaboration and Creation with Forestier
Within her collaboration with Forestier, Jette has effectively staged her design philosophy, characterized by a knack for playing with shapes and materials. Her collections, such as Cymbal, Carpa, Oyster, as well as the recent Grass and Parrot collections (2021) and the Carrie collection (2022), reflect her determination to blur the boundaries between art and functionality. The creations revolve around natural forms, clever use of materials, and an intuitive approach to the creative process.

Innovation in Light
Inspired by natural and organic elements, her lamps are not mere objects but entities that engage in a dialogue with the surrounding space. The Cymbal collection, for instance, plays with shapes and shadows to create a dynamic and interactive space.
