Hailing from Rome, Niccolò Adolini (1987) and Brazilian-born Daniel Simonini (Sao Paulo, 1986) crossed paths in 2011 within Rodolfo Dordoni's studio. Despite their divergent educational paths, their shared passion for design drew them closer. Adolini, having begun his studies at the Mendrisio Architecture Academy, completed them at the European Institute of Design in Rome. Simonini, on the other hand, after securing a master's from the Milan Polytechnic School of Design, honed his expertise at esteemed Milanese design agencies, such as those of Piero Lissoni, Ferruccio Laviani, and Palomba Serafini. Their complementary experiences and visions culminated in the 2012 Milan-based formation of ADOLINI+SIMONINI ASSOCIATI.
