Choose Mega – Oversized parchment pendant light for diffuse and structured interior lighting

A bold and elegant creation by Matteo Thun & Partners

The Choose Mega by Artemide® reimagines the classic pendant form on a grand scale. Designed by Matteo Thun & Partners, it draws on the essence of the Choose collection while amplifying its visual impact. Its generous volume, defined by the combination of natural parchment paper and transparent polycarbonate, makes a strong design statement while delivering refined lighting.

Diffuse and direct light to define large spaces

Offering a dual light emission—both diffuse and direct—the Choose Mega creates a soft yet structured lighting atmosphere. With 36 W of total power and a luminous output of 3766 lumens, it provides high-performance lighting ideal for spacious living areas, reception halls or hotel lobbies. Its excellent luminous efficiency (104 lm/W) ensures energy-conscious performance.

A fixed pendant with a strong presence

Unlike other models in the collection, the Choose Mega features a fixed diffuser, which reinforces its sculptural and stable silhouette. With a diameter of 55 cm and a height of 37 cm, it becomes a focal point in the room, highlighting a dining table, atrium or professional setting with elegance.

Rich materials and a harmonious design

The parchment shade offers a tactile, organic quality that softens the light and adds visual warmth. Paired with the sleek clarity of transparent polycarbonate, it creates a delicate interplay of material and illumination. The natural finish of the diffuser brings a soft glow suited to both minimalist and more traditional interiors.

A flexible and discreet installation

Suspended up to 2 meters from the ceiling, the Choose Mega adapts to different ceiling heights and spatial configurations. Its 13 cm canopy blends seamlessly with any decor. Operating on 220–240V, the lamp accommodates three E27 LED bulbs up to 12W each, and ensures color fidelity (CRI 80) for natural color rendering in every setting.
