Schwung Classic is more than a lighting collection—it is a design concept celebrating the visual beauty of glass and electric light. Inspired by the first electric luminaires of the early twentieth century, the collection combines exposed bulbs with delicate transparent glass globes and elegant brass structures, creating timeless lighting pieces with remarkable character.
Every luminaire is handcrafted in Poland using the renowned Bohemian glassmaking tradition. The delicate globes are made from mouth-blown borosilicate glass, an exceptionally durable and crystal-clear material that enhances both the purity of light and the refined beauty of the solid brass structures.
Schwung Classic plays with the contrast between slender brass frameworks and floating glass spheres. The exposed light bulbs become an integral part of the design, creating elegant constellation-like compositions that bring sculptural presence to contemporary, classic and Art Deco interiors.
The combination of solid brass and borosilicate glass gives every luminaire exceptional durability and timeless elegance. Carefully selected materials and meticulous craftsmanship reflect Schwung's philosophy of creating lighting designed to be enjoyed and passed down through generations.
With the Classic collection, Schwung reinterprets the heritage of early electric lighting through a contemporary design language. Handcrafted in Europe, these lighting fixtures are appreciated by architects, interior designers and design enthusiasts for their balance of craftsmanship, innovation and timeless aesthetics.
Available as pendants, chandeliers and multi-light compositions, Schwung Classic naturally complements living rooms, dining areas, hotels, restaurants, boutiques and premium architectural projects where lighting becomes a defining element of the space.
