The PH 6½-6 pendant lamp by Louis Poulsen, designed by Poul Henningsen in 1958, is an iconic example of French industrial design, combining modern aesthetics and functionality for indoor use. Lighting Concept Henningsen's original intention was to create a fixture that could be suspended at a height, providing additional light to the walls, unlike the 3-shade lamps. This vision was realized with the creation of the 4-shade lamp, which, however, did not immediately succeed and was removed from Louis Poulsen's standard range in the 1940s. Redesigned in 1979 for the Charlottenborg exhibition in Copenhagen, the PH 6½-6 was enhanced with a small blue shade and a new frosted and lacquered white shade surface for a homogeneous and diffuse light, ideal for museums, exhibition halls, or as ambient lighting in high-ceiling spaces.

Available Options The various options for the PH 6½-6 pendant include:

• LED 2700K 96W with an external or internal driver, available in DALI dimmable versions, offering comfortable brightness adaptable to the indoor environment.
• LED 3000K 96W, also with the choice of an external or internal driver, and dimmable via DALI, for those who prefer a slightly warmer color temperature.
• Wireless Bluetooth options, in 2700K or 3000K 96W, allowing dimmable control via a dedicated app on a tablet or smartphone, providing increased flexibility and ease of use.

All versions are offered in white, with a design that eliminates any risk of glare thanks to the trumpet-shaped top shade and a reflector at the base, accompanied by a blue ring. The white finish of the shades aims to produce a soft and welcoming light.

Product Details Materials used include white lacquered frosted aluminum, with a ceiling cup included for an aesthetic installation. The 4-meter cable, in white fabric, contributes to the elegant appearance of the pendant. The light is dimmable, offering customization of the lighting ambiance via Bluetooth, with a specific app available for control.
