Lady Galala, designed by Peluffo & Partners for Martinelli Luce in 2021, is a celebration of diversity, modularity, and light expression. Inspired by the vibrant landscapes of Monte Galala in Egypt, this outdoor suspension blends sculptural form, colour, and light to create a dynamic, evolving presence—designed to interact with nature and architecture alike.

A modular design that sparks creativity

Lady Galala is built from three satin-finished methacrylate cones, stackable and interchangeable, allowing up to eight different configurations. Anchored by a central body in matte white aluminium, each version becomes a unique lighting sculpture. Available in yellow, orange, blue, and white, the colours evoke sand, sky, sea, and daylight—bringing joy and character to outdoor spaces.

Graphic, adaptable lighting for the outdoors

With an IP54 rating, Lady Galala is fully weather-resistant, handling rain, humidity, and dust with ease. Its light output can be direct or diffuse depending on how the elements are assembled. It operates with a standard E27 LED bulb (up to 12 W, 3000 K), and can be dimmable with the right source—perfect for creating soft, ambient or vibrant scenes outdoors.

Compact, lightweight and easy to install

Measuring 25 cm in height and up to 60 cm in diameter depending on the setup, Lady Galala remains compact and versatile. Weighing just 3.2 kg and with a 350 cm suspension cable, it installs easily under pergolas, balconies, awnings or verandas. The aluminium canopy (Ø 12.5 cm) ensures stability with a clean, understated finish.
