Based in Florence, Studio PLS Design is an associated architecture firm that embodies the union of architectural art and design. Founded in 2002, this studio emanates from the fruitful collaboration between two talented architects: Lino Losanno and Lorenzo Perini. Their distinct journeys bring creative richness to their accomplishments.
The Visionary Architects
Lino Losanno, a graduate of the University of Naples in 1991, continued his studies at the American School of Art in Fontainebleau and at the Pratt Institute in New York. His years spent in New York led him to collaborate with several architecture and interior design firms, thus enriching his experience. On the other hand, Lorenzo Perini earned his degree in 1992 from the University of Florence. He then chose to settle in London, where he collaborated with renowned architect Nigel Coates. This international experience expanded his creative horizons.
A Fruitful Collaboration
From 1996 to 2000, Lino Losanno and Lorenzo Perini worked in collaboration with Nardi Associates as heads of the retail sector, contributing to the design of prestigious boutiques such as Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Ferré, Malo, Nannini, and Iceberg. They were also involved in architectural projects in the USA and the Middle East. Since the foundation of PLS Design in 2002, the studio has dedicated itself to interior architecture, architecture itself, as well as the restoration of spaces. Their approach is characterized by a harmonious fusion of architectural art and design, creating unique and functional environments.
