Sofie Lefèvre's path to becoming a designer was not without its challenges. She began her studies in medicine but decided to change course after just one year to pursue a career in design. After several years in London and earning a diploma in innovation design from the Royal College of Art, she gained valuable experience and discovered her calling for a career in design.
A Natural Affinity for Light
Sofie has an innate talent for working with light. She fully understands the impact that lighting can have on our lives and is fascinated by the power of light to transform a space: "I find it very interesting to create moods with light. In many ways, it allows me to unleash my inner child - when I play with angles, materials, and openings to make light diffuse and reflect as I desire."

For Sofie Lefèvre, quality in design means achieving the right balance, whether in functionality or the emotions it evokes. When faced with a challenge, Sofie enjoys stepping back from the process to explore radically different paths: "In general, I love challenges. They suspend my work, even though I know there's almost always a solution - it's just a matter of time. If I feel stuck, I stop working and engage in something completely different. Meanwhile, my subconscious continues to work on the problem, and new ideas or approaches naturally come to me. This always happens at unexpected times."

Among Sofie Lefèvre's luminous creations, the "Mademoiselle" table lamp stands out for its elegance and simplicity. It brings a gentle, luminous touch to any space. The pendant lights "Beau" and "Navone" also hold a special place in Sofie's heart. "Navone" draws inspiration from the fascinating glass art of the island of Murano in Italy.
