The Genesis of a Masterpiece:
In the 1950s, Domecq felt the need for a lamp suitable for his work as a mechanic. Not finding options on the market that met his specific needs for flexibility and durability, he decided to design his own lamp. After years of sketches and prototypes, the Jieldé lamp was born in 1952.

Each lamp is unique, marked with a serial number, and entirely made in France. Its ability to adapt to any position without visible wiring in its joints sets it apart from its contemporaries.
