The AJ Mini table lamp, designed by Arne Jacobsen for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen in 1957, is part of an iconic series of furniture and lighting pieces. This small table lamp emits pleasant downward light, thanks to its white-painted inner shade. The angle of the shade can also be adjusted, allowing for personalized light distribution. The AJ lamp family is regarded as one of Jacobsen’s most famous creations worldwide. In addition to the AJ Mini, the collection includes a standard-sized table lamp, a floor lamp, a wall lamp, and a mounted version, all originally featured in the SAS Royal Hotel at its 1960 opening.

To celebrate the hotel’s 60th anniversary in 2020, Louis Poulsen relaunched the AJ Mini table lamp. In tribute to Jacobsen’s vision, all AJ models were reintroduced in their original elegant stainless-steel finish. Today, the AJ Mini can stylishly adorn a windowsill, shelf, or side table, delivering high-quality, comfortable lighting.

New: Brushed brass stem available only in Grey and Black finishes

The AJ Mini is now available with a brushed brass stem, offering a refined, luxurious alternative to the standard model. This special finish is exclusively available in Grey and Black, enhancing the elegance of these versions.

Lighting Concept

The AJ Mini table lamp projects downward light, and its shade can be tilted up to 90 degrees to optimize light distribution. The interior is painted white for a soft and comfortable glow.

Product Details

The AJ Mini uses a 1x20W E14 bulb. It is made of polished stainless steel, with a matching base that ensures both durability and elegance. A 2.4-meter black plastic cable with a built-in switch completes the design.

Customizable option: Choose between the classic version or the one with a brushed brass stem, available only in Grey and Black.

Size and Dimensions

The AJ Mini measures 113 mm wide, 433 mm high, and 183 mm deep, weighing just 1.4 kg. Its compact design makes it ideal for smaller spaces while adding a touch of minimalist Scandinavian elegance to any interior.
