A luminous creation inspired by nature

The result of a collaboration between French designer Élise Fouin and lighting brand Forestier, the Papillon collection captures the grace of fluttering wings in sculptural, ethereal forms. Each piece is a dance of elegance and lightness, offering a poetic play of shadows.

An artistic design rooted in craftsmanship

Inspired by a visit to Forestier’s lampshade workshop, Élise Fouin created Papillon using three metal frames layered and twisted into fine wire structures. This unique construction creates a dynamic, graphic effect, evoking motion and softness.

Light as a moving sculpture

Papillon does more than illuminate—it transforms a room. The shadows it casts evolve gently throughout the day, creating a kinetic, visual experience. As a table lamp, wall light, or floor lamp, Papillon brings poetic presence to any space.
