INDUSTRIAL LAMPS

The trend of the industrial style does not always consist in integrating old objects into your interior, it is not essential either to have a real loft, or to invest in a disused factory or warehouse.

This interior style, also known as industry style, factory style, loft style, gives a practical and functional use to an object whose historical value remains proven.

A few “cult” objects have survived the ages and generations, but rare are the designer pieces that can boast of being produced without interruption since their date of creation. The Jieldé lamp is one of them!

A look back at the history of this timeless light and its genius creator: Jean-Louis Domecq.

A mechanic by trade, he was tired of being poorly lit to work. He began to design a lamp in 1940. Ten years later, his first creation was born! After years of effort, in 1950, his company was born under his cleverly declined initials: Ji El Dé.

With no visible wires, this great classic of industrial design is a model of solidity and ingenuity for directing light when large workshop windows are not enough!

A reference object and brand in the world of industrial design, the ingenious Jieldé lamp holds the upper hand. It must be said that it has many qualities: it is robust, practical.

- Fully articulated lamp (to adapt to different working positions in the workshop, this lamp can be oriented and swiveled in all directions).
- Joints without wires by circular contacts (no wire in the joints which allows great freedom of movement) (Loft Collection only)
- Extremely resistant even in very humid environments.
- Has that I-do-not-know-what that makes it unique
Screwed to the wall or on a desk, suspended or standing, as a reading light or as a desk lamp, the Jieldé has different variants, a version with curved arms even exists to fit into a more rounded decor.
