Niwaki – Poetic Lights Inspired by Nature – DCW Editions Paris
Design rooted in Japanese harmony
The Niwaki collection, created by the French studio BrichetZiegler, draws inspiration from the Niwaki tree – a sculpted Japanese pine renowned for its refined, controlled beauty. These luminaires reinterpret its delicate balance in the form of elegant and architectural lighting.
Structured light with graceful proportions
Each lamp features a matte black tubular frame, lightweight and strong, evoking tree branches. The collection comes in one- or two-diffuser versions, each placed at varying heights for a visual rhythm reminiscent of natural growth.
Two finishes, two moods
Choose between polished chrome for a crisp, modern glow or satin black for a more subdued, intimate ambiance. Both provide exceptional lighting quality, making Niwaki a functional yet decorative presence in any room.
From the Elysée to your living room
The Niwaki lamp was selected to illuminate the French President’s office at the Elysée Palace – a testament to its refined, contemporary design. It works equally well in domestic or professional interiors, offering subtle distinction and poetic simplicity.
A tribute to botanical and visual art
Niwaki is more than a light – it’s a tribute to balance, patience, and precision. It reflects both the philosophy of Japanese garden pruning and the elegance of minimalist design, offering atmosphere and calm in any setting.
